Cally-Ann Callaghan AISTD

Cally-Ann Callaghan is a talented West End performer, proudly represented by Michelle Blair Management. A distinguished alumna of the Gielgud Academy of Performing Arts, and Emil Dale Academy, she graduated with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre, earning 1st Degree Honours in 2023.

 

Cally-Ann's early professional credits include starring roles in West End productions such as Alice in Matilda the Musical (2012, The Cambridge Theatre) and Margaret Gormley in Billy Elliot the Musical (2014, The Victoria Palace). She also showcased her talents as a Featured Singer in The Magic of Animation 2 In Concert (2019, The Cadogan Hall). Additional credits include work as a child actor for Disney Media+ (2015).

Since graduating, Cally-Ann has continued to shine in productions like The Wedding Singer (Linda, The Factory Playhouse), The Night of the Musicals (Dance Captain, The Pleasance Theatre), and Aladdin (Dance Captain and Principal Understudy for Princess Jasmine & Spirit of the Ring, The Lighthouse Theatre).

 

Cally-Ann is emerging into her choreographic journey, with credits including Co-Choreographer for The Night of the Musicals (2023, The Pleasance Theatre) and Assistant Choreographer for Bring It On (2024, The G-LIVE Theatre). She's currently part of the creative team for the upcoming 80s musical Boy Meets Girl?, set to premiere at The Other Palace Theatre in London on April 26th.

With a wealth of teaching experience in the performing arts, Cally-Ann has worked with various companies across the UK, including Theatre-train, where she served as Head of Acting from 2021-2022. She's also worked with StageCoach Worldwide in 2024. Additionally, Cally-Ann has provided cover teaching for Underwired, Prepare2Perform, and Create Space Studios, and previously taught at Hurst Stage in 2014. We are delighted that Cally-Ann has been teaching for Walkhouse Gielgud Academy since 2023.
