Maddie trained at the Gielgud Academy of Performing Arts where she was the only GAPA pupil ever to achieve a perfect score of 100/100 for her ISTD Grade 6 modern.

 

She was one of the pupils selected to work alongside Dr Ross McKim as he created the ISTD contemporary dance syllabus at GAPA. Maddie was appointed Dance Captain in 2018 and then Head Girl between 2019 and 2021. From 2021 to 2024 she trained at the renowned Bird College on the 3 year degree course where she achieved a 1st class degree in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre.

 

We were thrilled when Maddie returned to her roots and joined the Walkhouse Gielgud Academy faculty in September 2024 teaching modern, ballet and contemporary.

 

Maddie is currently completing her ISTD DDE Teaching diploma and is also qualifying as a mat and reformer pilates instructor.
